Brevo lets you control how long your transactional email logs and email previews are stored. You can set automatic deletion rules and choose whether email previews are saved. 

To access these settings, at the bottom left, click Settings > Transactional emails > Retention rules.

Before you start

Here are a few important things to know before configuring your retention rules:

❗ Important
\n If your account has sent\n more than 10 million email events,\n an additional platform-wide policy applies: any events older than 24\n months\n will be automatically deleted, regardless of your custom settings. Affected\n accounts receive advance notifications (in-app and by email) before\n any deletion occurs. If you need to retain data beyond 24 months, an\n extended\n retention option is available with the Enterprise plan.\n To learn more, check our dedicated article\n About the data retention policy.\n

Step 1: Choose which senders' logs to store

Under Which senders' logs do you want to store?, choose one of the following options:

Once the retention period ends, logs are permanently deleted and cannot be recovered.

Step 2: Choose whether to keep email previews

Under Do we need to keep your transactional email previews?, choose one of the following options:
