Create and manage custom objects records

Custom objects let you store and organize data that goes beyond contacts and companies. You can create, edit, and delete records for any custom object directly from Brevo.

Before you start

You need at least one custom object set up in your Brevo account. To learn more, check our dedicated article Create custom objects.

➕ Create a record

To create a record for a custom object:

  1. Go to CRM > Custom objects > Your custom object.
  2. Click Create record.
  3. Fill in the fields for your record.

  4. Click Create.

The record is created and visible in the object listing page.

✍️ Edit a record

To update the information stored in an existing record at any time:

  1. Go to CRM > Custom objects > Your custom object.
  2. Click the name of the record you want to edit. The details page opens.
  3. In the Information section, edit the fields you want to change and click Save.

  4. In the Associations section, you can:
    1. Click the pen icon to edit the association.
    2. Click the three-dot icon to view the record or remove the association.

❌ Delete a record

❗️ Important
Deleting a record is permanent and cannot be undone. Make sure you no longer need the data before confirming.

To delete one or several records:

  1. Go to CRM > Custom objects > Your custom object.
  2. Select the records that you want to delete:

    1. To select multiple individual records, select the checkboxes next to the records.
    2. To select all of the records on your current page, select the checkbox at the top left of the table.
  3. Click Delete at the bottom of the page.

  4. Enter the number of selected records to confirm.

  5. Click Delete.

The records and their data have been permanently deleted from your Brevo account.
