⚙️ Set up your email template 

  1. Go to Marketing > Templates.
  2. Klicke auf Create Template (Template erstellen) > Email template (E-Mail-Template).
  3. Configure the settings of your template, including its name, sender, subject line, and preview text, just like a regular email template. We recommend you write a clear subject line, such as Confirm your subscription.
    💡 Gut zu wissen
    Do not add personalization using contact attributes to your double opt-in confirmation template. Since no information is stored in the attributes of the contacts who will receive this email, only the fallback value will be shown.
  4. Click Show advanced settings.

  5. (Optional) In the Tag field, enter optin.

  6. Click Add content to design your email template.

Gestalte deine E-Mail-Template

Du kannst nun dein E-Mail-Template entwerfen, das deinen Zustimmungstext und deinen Bestätigungslink enthält:

  1. Choose a template design and edit it as desired. To learn more, check our dedicated section in Create an email template.
    ❗️ Wichtig
    Do not add any advertising or promotional content, as the purpose of the email is purely to confirm the subscriber’s consent.
  2. [Recommended] To keep proof of your contact's consent in the transactional logs, add a Text block containing your consent text. This consent text should match the consent text from the GDPR field on your form.

    Wenn im DSGVO-Feld deines Formulars Folgendes erwähnt wird:

    I agree to receive your newsletters and accept the data privacy statement (https://thegreenyoga.com/legal/privatepolicy/).

    Then your double opt-in confirmation email should mention:

    By clicking the following button, you confirm your agreement to the following statement:
    "I agree to receive your newsletters and accept the data privacy statement (https://thegreenyoga.com/legal/privatepolicy/)."
  3. Add a Button block to your template, below your consent text.

  4. Füge den Double Opt-in Link zu deiner Schaltfläche hinzu:
    1. Klicke auf die Schaltfläche. Die Einstellungen der Schaltfläche öffnen sich auf der linken Seite. 
    2. Öffne im linken Fensterbereich das Untermenü Link settings (Link-Einstellungen).
    3. In Link type dropdown list, select Double opt-in link.

🔗 Link your custom double opt-in confirmation template to your sign-up form

  1. Gehe zu Marketing > Forms (Formulare):
    1. Wähle dein Anmeldeformular aus oder
    2. Erstelle ein Anmeldeformular, wie in unseren entsprechenden Artikeln Ein Anmeldeformular in Brevo erstellen und Ein Pop-up-Anmeldeformular in Brevo erstellen beschrieben.
  2. Wähle im Schritt Settings (Einstellungen) die Option Double confirmation email (Doppelte Bestätigungs-E-Mail) und wähle dein E-Mail-Template aus dem Dropdown-Menü:
