Track your transactions on Payments

For now, only users in France can activate Payments on their own. For others, Payments is currently only available under request and to Eurozone users. To request access to the feature, contact our Head of Payments by email: alexandre.hudavert@brevo.com.

Easily keep track of all your transactions and access detailed information about your payments and transfers in a single place. You can search for specific transactions or filter them by type, status, and date.

💸 Transactions dashboard

The Transactions dashboard lets you know the total amount of money you generated from your payment links. It also allows you to track the transactions from your customers to your payment links and the transactions from Payments to your bank account:

  1. Current balance
    Total amount of money you currently have on your Payments app and that can be transferred to your bank account. The pending balance shows payments that will be available in your current balance in 2-3 days.
  2. Download
    Click this button to download your transactional data or invoices and receive them by email. To learn more, check our dedicated section Download your transactional data and invoices.
  3. Transfer to your bank account 
    Click this button to transfer your current balance to your bank account. To learn more, check our dedicated article Transfer your revenue from Payments to your bank account.
  4. Reference
    For payments and refunds, Reference is the name of the payment link from which your customer purchased your products or services. For transfers, Reference the name of your bank account holder.
    Click the Reference link to access detailed information on your payments, transfers, card spendings, or refunds starting respectively with:
    Payment for Transfer to Card spending Refund for

    Name, email, billing and shipping addresses of your customer. But also products and services purchased, amount of money spent, payment link used, invoice, status, and date of purchase.

    You can also refund a payment by clicking Refund next to the Paid for section and clicking Refund xx.xx€ to confirm. The payment will then appear as Refunded.

  5. Value and With
    There are two types of transactions on your Payments app: 
    • +€xx.xx corresponds to payments made by one of your customers. Value is the amount of money received, and With is the name of the customer.
    • -€xx.xx corresponds to transfers made from the Payments app to your bank account. Value is the amount of money transferred, and With is the name of your bank account holder.
  6. Invoice
    Reference of the invoice associated with the payment. To learn more, check our dedicated section in our article Part 1: Create a payment link.
  7. Status
    payment-pending.png The transfer has not yet been received on your Payments app or bank account, or the refund has not yet been received by your client.
    icon-paid_EN-US.png Money will be available in your Payments account within 3 days of the payment date, once it has been approved by your bank.
    payment-completed.png The payment, refund, or transfer is complete, which means that if it is a payment or refund, it is calculated on your current balance, and if it is a transfer, you can see it on your bank account.
    payments_refunded_EN-US.png The payment has been refunded to your client, which means they have received the money in their bank account.
    payment-failed.png The payment, refund, or transfer could not be completed. There can be many reasons why a payment, refund, or transfer has failed. To learn more, check our dedicated question in Payments - FAQs.
  8. Date
    Date on which the payment or transfer has been completed.

📥 Download your transactional data and invoices

You can download the data available in your Transactions dashboard: all your transactional data and invoices.

  1. Go to Payments > Transactions.
  2. Optional: Search for specific transactions or filter them by type, status, and date to download only specific transactional data.
  3. Click Download.
  4. Select:
    • Download transactions, or
    • Download invoices.

You will receive an email with an attachment containing the requested data.

🧾 Customize invoices

You can generate and send an invoice to your customer and yourself after each payment. You can change the default footer text in your invoices.

  1. Go to Payments > Settings.
  2. Go to the Invoices tab.
  3. Type a default footer text to display on your invoices. The default footer text is legally binding.
  4. Click Save changes.

🪝 Set up webhooks

Every time a successful payment happens, we will send the payment info (billing and shipping info, and products purchased) to the URL you fill in. To learn more, check our dedicated API documentation.

  1. Go to Payments > Settings.
  2. Go to the Webhooks tab.
  3. Fill in the URL to which you want to send the payment info.
  4. Click Save Changes.
