To prevent smishing cases, all new validated transactional and marketing SMS accounts need to undergo manual validation, and the following error message will appear when trying to send an SMS:
Your SMS account is not validated yet Before you can start sending SMS campaigns, we need to talk with you to review your account. We will validate your account in less than 24 hours if everything's okay. Contact us to validate your account. |
Marketing SMS
We'll detail the process of activating your marketing SMS account below:
- Enable the SMS campaigns app from the Apps Center.
- Purchase SMS credits from My plan > Pre-paid SMS credits.
- When the order is confirmed, contact the support team to validate your SMS account.
- The support team manually validates your SMS account.
- After your account has been validated, you can create your SMS campaign.
- Your first few campaigns may undergo a manual content review by the support team. In this case, your campaigns will be found under the In review tab.
Once reviewed, you'll find your campaigns either:- in the Rejected tab if the support team rejected the content.
- in the Sent tab if the support team approved the content.
Transactional SMS
We'll detail the process of activating your transactional SMS account below:
- Enable the Transactional SMS app from the Apps Center.
- Purchase SMS credits from the My plan > Pre-paid SMS credits.
- When the order is confirmed, contact the support team to validate your SMS account.
- The support team manually validates your SMS account.
- After your account has been validated, all transactional SMS will be throttled as per these limits: 250 SMS per day and 10 SMS per minute. If you want the limits removed, you need to contact the support team.
