Two options are available to spend the money received from your payment links: you can either transfer it to your bank account or use the Brevo card. One of the key benefits of the Brevo card is that it is completely free. We do not charge any fees for creating or using it.
The Brevo card works the same way as any other bank card, which means you can use it for online and in-person payments. The Brevo card comes in two forms: virtual and physical. It is a Mastercard issued by Adyen, so it is completely secure.
Good to know
- When you use your Brevo card for a purchase, the merchant has to pay a fee to Adyen. Adyen then divides this fee with Brevo. This is known as the interchange pricing model. That's the reason why we can offer you the card for free.
- For enhanced security, authentication is required to perform specific card actions. Depending on your country, a one-time password will be sent to the email or phone number associated with your account. Once authenticated, you have 5 minutes to perform any sensitive actions. Authentication is limited to 10 times a day.
💳 Create your card
To request your Brevo card:
- Go to Payments > Cards.
- Click + New card.
- Fill in the requested information:
- Card name: enter an internal name to identify the card.
- Cardholder name: enter the name that will appear on the card.
- Mobile phone number: select your region code and enter your phone number. This number is used for 3-D Secure transactions to send you a verification code.

3D Secure Password: type a password for 3D secure payments. The password should be between 8 and 30 characters long and not contain special characters.
Type the password again in Confirm 3D Secure password. You can change your 3D Secure password if you forget it. - Shipping address: enter your first and last name, street name and number, city, postal code, country, and state. This is where we will send you the physical card.
- Click Continue.
- Review the details and click Create card.
A few moments after you click Create card, we will generate a virtual card you can use immediately for online payments. You will receive your physical card in about a week. Once you receive it, click Yes, I received it, then Yes, I confirm in Payments to activate the card and start making physical payments.
💸 Pay with your card
You can start using your virtual card just a few moments after you create it in Brevo. Once you have received your physical card, click Yes, I received it then Yes, I confirm in Cards to activate your card and start making physical payments. To access your card details:
- Go to Payments > Cards.
- Click the card name.
- From there, you can:
- Freeze or terminate your card.
- Click Reveal to see your card details: card number, expiry date, and CVV.
- Click See transactions to be redirected to the Transactions dashboard.
- Click Show to see the PIN of your physical card.
- Change your 3D Secure password.
- See your card limits: for now, you can spend up to €1,000 per transaction and per day, and up to €10,000 per month.
❌ Freeze or terminate your card
If you lose your card or it gets stolen, you can quickly freeze or terminate it anytime. You can unfreeze your card whenever you want, but terminating is permanent.
- Go to Payments > Cards.
- Click the card name to access the details.
- Click Active next to your card name.
- Select:
- Freeze card to temporarily deactivate your card. You will not be able to make payments if your card is frozen. You can unfreeze your card at any time.

Terminate card to deactivate your card permanently. Select a reason for termination and click Yes, terminate my card to confirm. Once your card is terminated, you can never use it again. You can always generate a new one.
🔑 Change your 3D Secure password
You can easily change your 3D Secure password from your card details. To change your 3D Secure password:
- Go to Payments > Cards.
- Click the card name.
- Click Change 3D Secure password in the 3D Secure password section.
- Type a password for 3D secure payments. The password should be between 8 and 30 characters long and not contain special characters.
- Type the same password in the Confirm new password field.
- Click Save password.
- Authenticate to save the new 3D Secure password: you will receive a one-time password to the email address or phone number associated with your account.

No. You can only make online and in-person payments. You cannot withdraw cash.
Yes. For now, you can spend up to €1,000 at a time and daily, and €10,000 monthly.
No. This card is completely free. When you use any cards to make a purchase, the merchant receives a little bit less than what you actually pay. For example, if you spend 100€, the merchant will receive around 98€ or 99€. The difference in amount is known as the interchange rate.
In our case, our bank, Adyen, gives us back part of the interchange rate, which enables us to offer this card to you for free without any additional fees or subscriptions.
However, when you transfer your revenue directly to your bank account, a 1% commission is charged.
If you enter the wrong PIN 3 times, your card will be blocked for security purposes. If your card is blocked, contact our support team.
