Getting started with Email deliverability

Email deliverability refers to the ability of your emails to reach your recipients' inboxes rather than landing in spam or being rejected. It is influenced by your technical setup, the quality of your contact list, and how your recipients engage with your emails.

In this Getting started with Email deliverability guide, we share the first steps you need to follow to build a solid foundation from the start:

💼 Use a custom professional email address

Sending from a free email address (@gmail, @yahoo, etc.) will cause your emails to be rejected or filtered to spam. Using a professional email address with your own domain signals to mailbox providers that your emails are legitimate. This is also mandatory to comply with Gmail, Yahoo, and Microsoft's sender requirements.

🔒 Authenticate your domain

Domain authentication verifies that your emails genuinely come from you, reduces the risk of spoofing, and increases the likelihood of your emails reaching the inbox. It is mandatory to comply with Gmail, Yahoo, and Microsoft's sender requirements.
