Manage your list settings

When sending email campaigns, you can define default campaign settings to apply to all campaigns. However, you can also customize these settings for emails sent to a specific list (From Name, From Email, Reply-To, etc.). Through the list settings, you can also delete contacts from this list or other lists.

📨 Configure your list campaign settings

Your list settings override the default campaign settings and the following fields for all contacts in this list:

  • The address in the 'From' field,
  • The name displayed to your recipients,
  • The address your recipients will see when they click 'Reply-to'.
💡 Good to know
To replace the list custom settings with the settings defined for this campaign, you can ignore the List custom campaign settings when creating a campaign. To learn more, check the Additional settings > Sending and Tracking section in the Create an email campaign article.

To configure your list custom campaign settings:

  1. Go to Contacts > Lists.
  2. Click the three-dot menu icon next to the list you want to manage.
  3. Click List settings.

    4. Define a custom Header.
The email header usually contains a 'mirror link'. This link allows recipients to read the email content on a web page.

    5. Define a custom Footer.
The email footer must contain an unsubscribe link. This allows your contacts to unsubscribe from your mailing lists.

    6. Enter a description for your list.
The description is only visible to you and helps you remember the characteristics of your list.
