Can I schedule the sending of SMS messages?

There are a few ways you can schedule the sending of SMS messages:

SMS campaigns

SMS campaigns can be sent directly through Brevo, some of our Brevo plugins, or the Brevo API:

  • Brevo allows you to schedule your SMS campaigns to be sent immediately or at a specific time in the future. To learn more, check our dedicated article Send an SMS campaign.

  • The Brevo API allows you to schedule your SMS campaigns to be sent immediately or at a specific time in the future. To learn more, check our dedicated API documentation.
  • Our Brevo plugins do not allow you to schedule the sending of an SMS campaign.

Transactional SMS

Transactional SMS can be sent through an Automation workflow, some of our Brevo plugins, or the Brevo API:

  • Through an Automation workflow, Brevo allows you to schedule your transactional SMS to be sent within a specific timeframe. To learn more, check our dedicated article Send transactional SMS through an Automation workflow.

  • The Brevo API does not allow you to schedule the sending of transactional SMS.
  • Our Brevo plugins do not allow you to schedule the sending of transactional SMS.
