Can I include links or images in my SMS messages?

🔗 Links

You can include links in your SMS messages. We highly recommend using a URL containing your business domain or aligned with your brand.

❗️ Important
The use of URL shorteners (like bit.ly or tinyurl) in SMS messages is not recommended as it may affect the deliverability of your messages and result in hard bounces.

🏞️ Images

The MMS feature is currently available to users in the U.S.A. and Canada who have registered for a toll-free number via Telenyx. Only recipients in the U.S.A. and Canada will receive the complete MMS. Other recipients will only receive the text part as a regular SMS. To learn more, check our dedicated article Add an image to your SMS campaigns (MMS).

In other countries, images are currently not supported in SMS messages.
