Use Zapier to integrate an app with Brevo

Do you want to integrate an app with Brevo and automate certain actions? The easiest way is to use one of the plugins or direct integrations available in our App Store.

If a ready-made integration isn’t available or if you need to perform an action that isn’t included, you can easily connect your app to Brevo using Zapier.

For example, you could create a Zap so that whenever you send an email campaign through Brevo (trigger), a new row with the campaign details is automatically added to a Google Spreadsheet (action).

Good to know

  • In Zapier, the Brevo app is free to all Brevo clients. Note that some apps may require a paid Zapier subscription.
  • For more information about how to use Zapier and create Zaps, we recommend you check Zapier's documentation.

Supported triggers and actions

If a plugin or direct integration is not available for your app in our App Store, you can build your own automation in Zapier using the following triggers and actions:

Supported triggers Supported actions

In Zapier, the trigger is the event that starts a Zap.

Brevo triggers

If you choose Brevo as your trigger app, the following triggers are supported:

  • New Campaign Status is triggered when the status of a Brevo campaign is updated. The statuses that are monitored are Suspended, Archive (Archived), Sent, Queued (Scheduled), Draft, and inProcess (Running).
  • New contact added to a specific list is triggered when a new contact is added to a list in Brevo. This trigger will not be fired for existing contact being moved to another list.
  • Email Delivered is triggered when an email campaign sent from Brevo is delivered to a recipient.
  • Email Opened is triggered when a recipient opens an email campaign sent from Brevo.
  • Link Clicked is triggered when a recipient clicks a link inside an email campaign sent from Brevo.
  • Contact Added is triggered when a contact is added to Brevo.
  • Contact Updated is triggered when a contact is updated in Brevo. Updates happen when a contact is moved to another list, or their contact data is updated.
  • Contact Unsubscribed is triggered when a Brevo contact unsubscribes from the list they belonged to.

Other triggers

Other triggers are available if you choose an app other than Brevo as a trigger, such as:

  • Gmail: New Attachment, New Label, New Email, New Thread, etc.
  • Google Drive: New File, New Folder, Updated File, etc.
  • Slack: New Public Message Posted Anywhere, New Channel, New Mention, etc.

Step 1: Use a pre-configured Zap or create your own

To connect your app with Brevo, you can use one of our pre-configured Zaps. If your app is not on the list, we suggest you create your own Zap.

A variety of pre-made Zaps are available to connect Brevo with popular apps. These ready-to-use automations help you save time by instantly syncing data or triggering actions between Brevo and your favorite tools with no technical setup required.
