Migrating from Metrilo to Brevo is a simple process which is mostly automated. The only thing that you need to do manually is import your contacts to Brevo.

Export your contacts from Metrilo

Firstly, you will need to export your contacts so that you can import them later in your Brevo account:

1. In your Metrilo account, go to Customer database from the side panel.
2. Click CSV on the top of your screen to export your contacts.

Create your Brevo account

Navigate to Brevo.com or directly to the registration page. You will have the option to set up your account by using your Google/Apple account or simply use an Email and Password.

After you fill in your information, you will be given the option to choose your subscription plan. Take a look at your options and proceed. We have provided (by email) current Metrilo users with a special code that you can use for a 20% discount on the Business plan that works best with the ecommerce analytics feature. You can use the code during checkout.

Import your contacts to Brevo 

Now you can import your contacts in Brevo with the CSV file you exported from Metrilo. 

1. Login to your Brevo account
2. Go to Contacts

Integrate Brevo with your store

You need to navigate to the Brevo App Store and find the integration associated with the platform you are using (WordPress, Shopify, etc.). Once you find the integration, there will be further specific instructions regarding how to install it. If you are using a custom integration, then you need to refer to the developers library instead.

If using a plugin to integrate, then all of your e-Commerce data will be synchronized similarly to Metrilo. You can then remove the Metrilo integration and start your journey on Brevo.

Will I be able to migrate my Metrilo templates to Brevo?

Unfortunately, we are not able to migrate your templates. However, within Brevo, you can easily create professional-looking templates. For more information, check our dedicated article Create an email template.

Will Metrilo continue to operate?

Currently, there are no plans for Metrilo to close down its service in the foreseeable future.
