In this article, we will explain how to enable the New Template Language (Brevo Template Language) for accounts created before October 1, 2018.
Good to know
- To learn more about the New Template Language, read About Brevo Template Language.
- All new Brevo accounts automatically use the New Template Language. Only legacy users (accounts created before October 1, 2018) may update their default settings to enable the New Template Language. Once you have enabled the New Template Language on your account, you will have the option to automatically convert your existing email templates to follow the New Template Language syntax.
Enable the New Template Language
If you are currently using the Old Template Language, you will be prompted to switch to the New Template Language the first time you create a new email campaign or template using one of the Drag & Drop Editors:
If you dismiss the banner and reminders without switching, you may update your default Template Language anytime in your Campaign Default Settings.
To update your Template Language in the default settings:
- In your account, go to Campaigns > Settings.
- Select Default Settings.
- Under the Template Language Version section, select New.
- Click Save.
