Migrating your contacts from one app to another can be tedious, and you may need some time to set up Brevo before you fully migrate. An easy way to smoothly migrate from HubSpot to Brevo is to use our HubSpot integration, which allows you to easily import and sync your HubSpot contacts to Brevo.
About the HubSpot integration
The HubSpot integration for Brevo is free. It allows you to sync your contacts from HubSpot to Brevo in real time, which means that:
- Your existing and new contacts are imported from HubSpot to Brevo.
- If you update your contacts in HubSpot, the changes are reflected in Brevo and vice-versa.
- If you blocklist your contacts in HubSpot, the changes are reflected in Brevo.
- If you delete a contact in HubSpot, the changes are reflected in Brevo and vice-versa.
The HubSpot integration has some sync limitations:
- The subscription status for contacts in HubSpot will not be reflected in Brevo.
- Updating the email field for multiple leads in bulk on HubSpot will not be reflected in Brevo.
- The phone number attribute must be 6-16 digits. If you create or update a contact in HubSpot with a phone number not following this format, it will not be synced to Brevo.
- Some HubSpot attributes, such as Email Domain, HubSpot score, or Registered at, are read-only. These attributes cannot be mapped during the integration setup and cannot be updated via API calls, which means that they may create some issues when synced or updated (e.g., they may not be mapped to the right Brevo attribute).
The HubSpot integration has some rate limitations:
- There’s a global limit on how much data your integrations can pull or sync with. This limit is set to 100,000 tasks/month. You will receive an email notification when you reach 80% of your monthly quota. If you exceed this limit, your integrations will be stopped, and you'll receive a new email notification. There are some basic rate limits for how many operations can be performed simultaneously on contacts in HubSpot. These limits depend on the pricing plan of your HubSpot account. They are as follows:

Before you start
- Sign up for a Brevo account. Depending on your needs, you can choose a free or paid plan. To learn more and choose the best plan, check our dedicated article About Brevo pricing plans.
- Make sure your HubSpot contact list is complete and clean and that it only contains contacts who consented to receive updates from you.
Step 1: Set up the HubSpot Integration
To sync your HubSpot contacts to Brevo, start by setting up the HubSpot integration:
- In your Brevo account, click your profile name and select Plugins & Integration.
- In the App Store, search and select the HubSpot contacts integration.
- Give a name to the integration.
- Click Create Integration.
Connect your HubSpot account to Brevo
Connect the integration to your HubSpot account to retrieve the data of your contacts:
- Click Connect your account.
- Click Sign in to your HubSpot account.
- Enter your credentials.
- Click Log In.
- Choose your HubSpot account.
- Click Connect app to allow Brevo to access your HubSpot account. Your HubSpot account is now connected to Brevo.
- Click Continue.
Select a HubSpot contact list
Select the HubSpot list you want to import to Brevo:
- Select in the drop-down the HubSpot list you want to import to Brevo.
- Check the box to confirm that these contacts have given you their explicit content to receive your communications.
- Click Continue.
Map your data
Indicate how Brevo should match the data from your HubSpot fields to your Brevo contact attributes:
- From the HubSpot Attributes column, select in the drop-down list the HubSpot data fields you want to map to your Brevo contact attributes. To ignore an attribute, choose Do not import from the drop-down list.
- Click Continue.
Select a Brevo contact list
Select in which Brevo list you want to import your HubSpot contacts:
- In the Select a list tab, select the existing list in which you want to import your HubSpot contacts.
- Click Continue.
- In the Create a list tab, create a new list in which you want to import your HubSpot contacts.
- Select the folder in which you want to store the new list.
- Click Continue.
Save your integration
To activate the integration, click Save and activate. You will be redirected to the My Integrations page, where you can view the newly created integration.
Part 2: Check your contacts
Now that you have connected and configured the HubSpot integration in Brevo, your HubSpot contacts will be imported into Brevo. The sync process may take several minutes depending on the number of contacts to import. You will receive an email once the import and sync of your HubSpot contacts to Brevo are done.
Once you receive the email, access the list by going to Contacts > Lists and choosing the folder in which you created it. You will see that your HubSpot contacts details have been added to the list of contacts you selected during the HubSpot integration setup:
