Enable SAML SSO for your users

Brevo supports SAML (Security Assertion Markup Language) which provides the feature to onboard your users via SSO (single sign-on) to access your account. Users are authenticated by a trusted third-party identity provider. Once users are authenticated via the identity provider, our platform is accessible to them with a secure token.

To achieve this you just need to configure SAML in your account and you can allow your company users to access the account with SSO.

This feature is available only for BrevoPlus clients. Contact us to have the feature in your BrevoPlus account.

Configure SAML in your account

Navigate to My Plan and on the leftmost panel where you would see a Security menu that leads to this page.

The switch on the page would allow, enable or disable SAML in your account for your users. Once you have enabled the feature, you need to provide the details from your identity provider.

You will find the following attributes with your identity provider and you need to share with us on this page:

  1. Metadata address
  2. Sign-on-URL
  3. Certificate

The attributes which are used to authenticate the users are:

  1. Email fieldname
  2. User ID

The next step is the verification of your SAML configuration. Once you have shared the information with us on this page, you can verify the configuration by clicking Verify on this page. If you see the green color check mark, you can save the configuration.

Now you are all set and the users from your company would be able to access your account with single sign-on.

💡 Good to know
This feature is available for BrevoPlus plans only. Compare plans here.

1: Your account users would be able to access our platform as long as they are authorized with your organization's identity provider.

2: Once the user has access on your account, they would be listed in the user's list and you can assign the required permissions to perform the actions in your account.

3: The number of the users which are allowed to get access in the account depends on the quota of users assigned to you.

4: The users of the account configured with SAML will not be able to connect on our platform with our login page.
