Upload a file to a contact, company, or deal's history

You can add files, such as a quote or an invoice, to a contact, company, or deal history to help you record your interactions with your contacts. You can re-download the file or delete it from the history if necessary.

💡 Good to know
You can upload files up to 10MB.

Upload a file

To upload a file to a contact, company, or deal history:

  1. Go to:
  2. Click the contact, deal, or company.
  3. Click the three dots icon above More.
  4. Click File.

  5. Drag and drop your file directly in the window, or click the window and select a file from your computer.

The file is automatically uploaded to the contact, company, or deal's history.

Manage your uploaded files

To find the files added to a contact, company, or deal's history:

  1. Go to:
    • Deals to find a file uploaded to a deal's history.
    • Contacts > Companies to find a file uploaded to a company's history.
    • Contacts to find a file uploaded to a contact's history.
  2. Click the contact, deal, or company.
  3. To filter your files:
    1. From a contact's history, go to the 1-to-1 Interactions tab.

    2. From a company or deal's history, click the All activities filter and select Files.

  4. If necessary, scroll down the history to find your file.

Then, you can download or delete the file by clicking:

  1. Download to re-download the file on your computer.
  2. Delete to delete the file from the history permanently.
