You can add files, such as a quote or an invoice, to a contact, company, or deal history to help you record your interactions with your contacts. You can re-download the file or delete it from the history if necessary.
Upload a file
To upload a file to a contact, company, or deal history:
- Go to:
- Deals to upload a file to a deal's history.
- Contacts > Companies to upload a file to a company's history.
- Contacts to upload a file to a contact's history.
- Click the contact, deal, or company.
- Click the three dots icon above More.
- Click File.
- Drag and drop your file directly in the window, or click the window and select a file from your computer.
The file is automatically uploaded to the contact, company, or deal's history.
Manage your uploaded files
To find the files added to a contact, company, or deal's history:
- Go to:
- Deals to find a file uploaded to a deal's history.
- Contacts > Companies to find a file uploaded to a company's history.
- Contacts to find a file uploaded to a contact's history.
- Click the contact, deal, or company.
- To filter your files:
- From a contact's history, go to the 1-to-1 Interactions tab.
- From a company or deal's history, click the All activities filter and select Files.
- From a contact's history, go to the 1-to-1 Interactions tab.
- If necessary, scroll down the history to find your file.
Then, you can download or delete the file by clicking:

Download to re-download the file on your computer.
- Delete to delete the file from the history permanently.
