Install the plugin

To install the Brevo plugin for ChatGPT:

  1. Log in to your ChatGPT account and your Brevo account.  
  2. Expand the left sidebar and click Plugins > Browse plugins.

  3. In the search bar, type Brevo, then select the Brevo plugin from the results.
  4. Click Install plugin.

  5. Click Sign in with Brevo to connect your ChatGPT account to Brevo.
  6. Click Authorize to allow the ChatGPT plugin to access your Brevo account.

The Brevo plugin for ChatGPT is now installed and ready to use!

Use the Brevo plugin in ChatGPT

To use the Brevo plugin in a ChatGPT conversation:

  1. Open a new ChatGPT chat.
  2. Click the + icon and select Brevo from the dropdown list.

  3. Type the action you want the plugin to perform on your Brevo account, then press Enter. If you're not sure what to ask, try one of the examples below:
    • Analyze campaign performance
      "What's the open and click rate on my last email campaign in Brevo?"
    • Get contact statistics
      "Pull contact statistics for my 'Newsletter' list in Brevo."

    • Create a draft campaign
      "Create an email campaign in Brevo for our flash sale and show me the draft before sending." 

      💡 Good to know
      When the Brevo plugin in ChatGPT saves a draft, go to the relevant section in your Brevo account to review, edit, or send it.

📊 Get insights on your campaigns and templates

Ask ChatGPT about the performance of your email campaigns, SMS campaigns, email templates, and A/B tests, without opening Brevo.

💡 Good to know
This is a read-only feature. The Brevo plugin for ChatGPT can look up and summarize your campaign and template data, but it cannot edit, send, or delete anything.

To get campaign or template insights:

  1. Open a new ChatGPT chat and click the + icon, then select Brevo.
  2. Ask a question. For example:
    • "What's the open and click rate on my last email campaign in Brevo?"
    • "What were the results of the A/B test on my last newsletter?"
    • "List my SMS campaigns from the last 30 days."
    • "Show me my email templates."

✍️ Generate campaign and template drafts

Describe the email campaign, SMS campaign, or email template you want, and ChatGPT creates it as a draft directly in your Brevo account.

❗️ Important
ChatGPT can send a test version of an email template to check how it looks. It can never send, schedule, or delete a live campaign.

To generate a draft:

  1. Open a new ChatGPT chat and click the + icon, then select Brevo.
  2. Describe what you want. For example:
    • "Create an email campaign in Brevo for our flash sale and show me the draft before sending."
    • "Write and save a draft SMS campaign for our weekend flash sale targeting my VIP list."
    • "Create an email template for a win-back campaign and send me a test."
💡 Good to know
Any campaign or template created with the Brevo plugin for ChatGPT creates is saved as a draft. Go to the relevant section in Brevo to review, edit, and send it yourself.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 Look up your contacts, lists, and segments

Ask ChatGPT to find a contact, check engagement statistics, or explore your lists and segments, all without opening Brevo.

💡 Good to know
This is a read-only feature. ChatGPT can look up and summarize your contacts, lists, and segments, but it cannot create, edit, or delete them.

To look up contact or audience information:

  1. Open a new ChatGPT chat and click the + icon, then select Brevo.
  2. Ask a question. For example:
    • "Pull contact statistics for my 'Newsletter' list in Brevo."
    • "What lists is sophie@example.com subscribed to?"
    • "List the contacts in my 'VIP customers' list."
    • "What segments do I have set up in Brevo?"

⚙️ Check your account setup

Ask ChatGPT about your Brevo account details, your verified senders, or your contact attribute schema.

To check your account setup:

  1. Open a new ChatGPT chat and click the + icon, then select Brevo.
  2. Ask a question. For example:
    • "What are the details of my Brevo account?"
    • "Which senders do I have verified in Brevo?"
    • "What contact attributes are set up in my Brevo account?"

Disconnect the plugin

Disconnecting the plugin immediately removes ChatGPT's access to your Brevo account. Your data in Brevo is not affected.

To disconnect the plugin: 

  1. Log in to your ChatGPT account.
  2. Expand the left sidebar and click Plugins > Browse plugins. 
  3. In the search bar, type Brevo, then select the Brevo plugin from the results.
  4. Click the three-dot icon > Uninstall. 

Your Brevo plugin for ChatGPT is uninstalled!

FAQs

Can ChatGPT send or delete anything in my Brevo account?

No. ChatGPT can only read existing data and create draft content (email campaigns, SMS campaigns, and email templates). It cannot send, schedule, or delete anything on your behalf.
