Add a timestamp in your emails

In this article, we will explain how you can add a timestamp in your emails.

You can add a timestamp in your emails by inserting a timestamp placeholder that will be populated by the current time in your timezone when the email is sent.

How to add a timestamp in your emails

❗️ Important
If you have not set the timezone in your Brevo account, then the placeholder will return the current timestamp in UTC.

Using any editor, manually enter the timestamp placeholder in your email body:

If you want modify the format of the output date, you can apply filters to your placeholder:
