You can create and manage the companies that you interact with, using the creation form in Brevo.

You can also automate company creation and association, enrich company data automatically using Brevo’s AI-powered assistant Aura, and maintain a clean database by detecting and merging duplicate companies.

Good to know

• Only the fields marked with an asterisk are mandatory. Company name and Owner are mandatory fields by default. You can create custom attributes and choose which attributes should be required when creating a company from the Manage company creation attributes page.
• From a company's details page, you can enrich your company's information using Brevo's AI-powered assistant Aura. To learn more, check our dedicated article Discover Aura - Brevo’s AI-powered assistant.
• If you want to create or update multiple companies, you can easily import and associate them with existing contacts or deals from a file. To learn more, check our dedicated articles Import companies and Associate your companies, deals, and contacts.

Create a company

To create a company:

1. Go to CRM > Companies.
2. Click Create company. The creation form panel opens.
3. Enter information about the company in the relevant fields:
   
   💡 Good to know

   In the example below, we've only enabled the default company attributes. If you've not enabled the same attributes or if you've created additional custom attributes, the fields in your creation form might be different.

   Associate company to contacts: select existing contacts or create new ones to associate with the company. Associate company to deals: select existing deals or create new ones to associate with the company. Company name: enter the name of the company. Owner: select the Brevo user to whom the company should be assigned to. Phone number: enter the main phone number of the company. Domain: enter the domain of the company. Industry: enter the type of business the company performs (e.g. Tourism, Clothing, Chemical Industries, Food, etc.). No of Employees: enter the number of people who work for the company. Revenue: enter the estimated annual revenue of the company.

4. Once you're done, click Create.

Automate company management

You can automate company creation and association, as well as data enrichment. Click the account dropdown and select Settings > Companies > Automated company management.

From there, you can activate:

• Automatically create and associate companies with contacts
  When you create a new contact, Brevo automatically associates them with an existing company or creates a new one based on the contact's email domain. The email domain needs to be a custom domain name, not a free one like Gmail or Hotmail.
  ➡️  For example

  If you add a contact with the email adress "arthur@ompulse.com", this contact will be automatically associated with the company "Ompulse". If the company doesn't exist in your database yet, it will be created.
• Automatically enrich company data
  ✅ Plan availability

  Automatic company data enrichment is only available with the Sales Essentials and Sales Advanced packages. For more information, check our pricing page.
