Tags let you organize and identify your campaigns (email, SMS, WhatsApp, and Push) and automations. You can create tags based on criteria that matter to you, such as audience segments, goals, languages, or markets. They make it easier to keep everything organized and quickly find what you need.
What are tags?
Tags are custom labels that help you better organize, filter, and analyze your campaigns (email, SMS, WhatsApp, and Push) and automations.
Expand the following accordion to view examples of tags you can use for your campaigns and automations:
| Criteria | Tags |
|---|---|
| Language | FR, EN, ES |
| Market | France, Germany, US |
| Audience segment | VIP, New Leads, Inactive |
| Campaign goal | Reactivation, Acquisition, Newsletter |
| Season or period | Black Friday, Summer 2025, Back to School |
| Internal project names | Project Apollo, CRM Test |
Difference between folders and tags for campaigns
While folders let you group campaigns at a high level, tags provide a more detailed way to organize your content. Think of folders as your first level of organization, and tags as additional labels you can use to sort campaigns by criteria like audience, language, purpose, or market. This makes it easier to find specific campaigns later and to segment contacts based on their interactions with tagged campaigns.
