What is a View in browser (mirror) link?
The View in browser (mirror) link is a link that recipients can click if they have trouble viewing your email in their inbox and want to open your email as a web page. Having a View in browser (mirror) link in your campaigns is not mandatory.
Add a View in browser (mirror) link in your campaigns
The process for adding a View in browser (mirror) link in your campaigns is different based on the editor you are using to build your email:
In the Drag & Drop Editor
Toggle the View in browser option from the Design tab.
Drag and drop the View in browser block in the body of your email.
In the HTML and Rich Text editors
Manually add a View in browser (mirror) link in a campaign
To manually add a View in browser (mirror) link in a campaign created in the HTML and Rich Text editors, simply insert the {{ mirror }} placeholder in an HTML hyperlink tag <a>:
Choose a default header containing your View in browser (mirror) link to use in all your campaigns
You can set a default header containing your View in browser (mirror) link to be used in campaigns created using the HTML and Rich Text editors. To set a default header:
- Go to Campaigns > Settings > Default Settings.
- In the Default campaign settings section, modify the text of the [DEFAULT_HEADER] field.
The clickable text must be added between curly brackets { }, e.g. {here}. - Click Save.
When setting up a new email campaign, make sure to check the Enable Mirror Link box in the (Show) Advanced Options section for your header to appear in your email.
Override the default View in browser (mirror) link for a specific campaign
From the email campaign creation, if you have set a default View in browser (mirror) link and want to modify it for a specific campaign:
- Click Edit settings from the Advanced Settings section.
- Check the Edit default header box and edit the text to override your default header.
The clickable text must be added between curly brackets { }, e.g. {here}. - Check the Enable mirror Link box and click Save.
❓Can I change or delete my View in browser (mirror) link?
Having a mirror link in your email campaign is not mandatory. You can change or delete it if you want to.
