Insert a 'View in browser' link in your campaigns

The 'View in browser' link is a link that recipients can click if they have trouble viewing your email in their inbox. Clicking this link will open your email on a web page. You can add a 'View in browser' link either to:

Having a 'View in browser' link in your campaigns is not mandatory but is a good practice to ensure your recipients can read your email.

Add a 'View in browser' link to a specific campaign

The process for adding a 'View in browser' link in your campaigns is different based on the editor you are using to build your email:

Toggle the View in browser option from the Style > Template tab.

You can add a 'View in browser' link by default to all your email campaigns:

  1. Go to Campaigns > Settings > Default Settings.
  2. In the Default campaign settings section, search for the Add a 'View in browser' link to all campaigns option and select Yes.
  3. Click Save.

If you do not want to have a 'View in browser' link for a specific campaign, you can always remove it from this specific campaign's settings.

Customize the 'View in browser' link for a specific campaign

By default, the 'View in Browser' link appears at the top of your email design, with the mention View in browser like in the example on the right ➡️

You can customize your 'View in browser' link directly from the email editor: 

  1. When creating an email campaign, access the Design step and open an email template. 
  2. From the email editor, go to the Style tab and expand the Template accordion.
  3. Toggle on the View in browser option to display the link. The 'View in browser' link should appear at the top of your email design. 
  4. Click the View in browser link. 
  5. Use the toolbar to customize your 'View in browser' link color, size, and formatting:

❓Can I delete my 'View in browser' link? 

Having a 'View in browser' link in your email campaign is not mandatory. You can change or delete it if you want to.
