📥 Import your WhatsApp contacts
Upload a file and Copy/Paste options
The Upload a file and Copy/Paste options allow you to upload an import file or paste data that contains your contacts' information to Brevo. To import or copy/paste the phone number of a contact you want to send WhatsApp messages to, create an import file and use the WHATSAPP default attribute as your column header. Always include the + sign and the country code for each phone number, and do not separate the digits by any special character.
Once you have created your import file, check our dedicated article Import contacts to Brevo to learn how to use it with the Upload a file or Copy/Paste options.
Landing pages and subscription forms
To grow your audience and automatically add new contacts to your Brevo account, you can:
- Create and promote a landing page with a built-in subscription form, or
- Create a subscription form to embed on your website.
When a new visitor fills in and submits a Brevo subscription form with the WhatsApp field, they will be automatically added to your WhatsApp contact list along with their other contact details. To learn more on how to collect your contacts' opt-in for WhatsApp with forms or landing pages, check our dedicated article.
