Export your companies

You can export your companies and their attributes as a CSV file.

When updating your existing companies in bulk or associating them with existing contacts or deals, you can provide the IDs of these companies to identify them. IDs are unique series of numbers and letters automatically created for each company and can only be retrieved through an export:


Good to know

When importing a file containing existing companies' IDs, they'll automatically be recognized by our system. You can also use the company names to identify your companies if you enable the Use company name to update existing companies option when finalizing your import. Identifying your companies prevents the creation of duplicates. To learn more, check our dedicated article Import companies.

Export your companies

To export your companies:

  1. Go to Deals > Companies.
  2. Optional: Filter your companies by clicking Filter > Attributes.
  3. Select the companies that you want to export:
    1. To select multiple individual companies, select the checkboxes next to the companies.
    2. To select all of the companies on your current page, select the checkbox at the top left of the table.
    3. To select all of the companies, select the checkbox at the top left of the table and click Select all # companies.
  4. Click Export
  5. Select the attributes that you want to include in your export. The company ID and name are selected by default.
    💡 Good to know
    Activities on companies, such as notes, files, or emails, cannot be exported.
  6. Select the CSV field separator that you want to use.
  7. Click Export.
  8. Download the CSV file from your Notifications.
