About the Brevo connector for Claude

The connector is available on the web, desktop, and mobile versions of Claude. It allows you to:

  • Get instant insights on your email and SMS campaign performance
  • Look up contacts, explore contact lists, and understand your segments
  • Generate templates and campaign drafts using Claude's AI and save them directly to your Brevo account

Claude can read your Brevo data and create new drafts, but it will never send or schedule campaigns or delete anything on your behalf. All drafts must be reviewed and sent manually from the Brevo interface.

Set up the Brevo connector for Claude

To connect Brevo to your Claude account:

  1. In your Claude account, click Customize.

  3. In the search bar, type brevo.
  4. Select the Brevo connector.

  5. Log in to your Brevo account to authorize the connection.
  6. Review the requested permissions and click Authorize. You'll be redirected back to Claude.

The Brevo connector for Claude is now active and ready to use.

Use the Brevo connector for Claude

In the Claude chat window, type your prompt and press Enter. If you're not sure what to ask Claude, here are a few prompts to get you started:

💡 Good to know
When Claude saves a draft, it will give you a quick summary of what was created, including the campaign or template name, subject line, and target list. To review, edit, or send it, go to the relevant section in your Brevo account.

Best practices with the Brevo connector for Claude

For best results, you should always:

  • Mention time ranges when asking about performance (e.g., "in the last 30 days" or "in Q1")
  • Name the list or segment you want to target when asking Claude to create a campaign draft
  • Always review any draft in your Brevo account before sending

Disconnect the Brevo connector for Claude

Disconnecting the connector immediately removes Claude's access to your Brevo account. Your data in Brevo is not affected.

FAQs

Using the Brevo connector

Does the Brevo connector for Claude support multiple languages?

Claude responds in the language used to interact with it. Note that Brevo account content, such as campaign names and contact attributes, will appear as stored in Brevo, regardless of the language used.

Can I edit the drafts Claude creates in my Brevo account?

Yes. For email campaigns and templates, the easiest way to make changes is to continue the conversation in Claude and ask for adjustments directly. Claude will update the draft in your Brevo account. Alternatively, you can edit the HTML directly from the email editor in your Brevo account.

SMS campaign drafts can be edited as usual from Brevo.

Can Claude send a campaign from my Brevo account?

No. Claude can only create campaigns and templates as drafts. It cannot send, schedule, or publish any campaign on your behalf. All sending must be done manually from your Brevo account.

Can I connect multiple Brevo accounts to my Claude account?

Not through the standard connector. The Brevo connector listed in the Claude Directory supports one Brevo account per Claude account.

If you need to connect multiple Brevo accounts, you can set up individual custom connectors and paste the MCP key from each account into its respective custom connector.

How does the Brevo connector for Claude handle user permissions?

Currently, the connector does not take user permissions into account as it grants access based on the MCP key, regardless of the individual user's permissions in Brevo. In the meantime, only share access with users you trust. This is a known limitation and is being addressed in a future update.

Can Claude hallucinate or provide inaccurate data?

Yes, like all AI models, Claude can occasionally produce inaccurate or misleading results. To get the most reliable outputs from the Brevo connector, we recommend the following:

  • Keep your Brevo data current. Claude works from what's in your connected account, so make sure it's accurate and up to date.
  • Always review the output. Have a human check, refine, and fact-check any results before acting on them.
  • Ask for references. For important facts or assertions, ask Claude to point to the specific data in your Brevo account so you can verify it directly.
  • Don't rely on AI alone for critical decisions. Always apply your own judgment, especially for high-stakes actions.

How does Claude handle my data?

After your data is shared with Claude, Anthropic’s Terms of Service apply (consumer or commercial, depending on your Anthropic plan). Visit Anthropic’s Trust Center for details on data retention and deletion practices.

Is my Brevo data used to train Claude?

No. Anthropic does not use data shared through Brevo to train its AI models. Limited exceptions may apply, such as if you choose to submit feedback or explicitly opt into training. For full details, refer to Anthropic’s Terms of Service (consumer or commercial, depending on your Anthropic plan).

Can Claude delete data from my Brevo account?

No. The connector has no delete capabilities. Claude can only read existing data and create new draft content.
