About regulatory information and documents required to activate numbers

To adhere to local regulations, you have to provide information and identity documentation to activate French, German, and UK numbers. We need to provide this information to the local regulator or carrier before activating your number. The verification process takes a few business days.

The information and documents required vary depending on the country of origin of the number.

🇫🇷 France

The following information and documents are required to activate a French number:

  • Excerpt from the commercial register (Handelsregisterauszug) showing Business Registration Number
  • Tax ID Number Notification Letter (‘Bestätigung Freier Beruf Finanzamt’)

The website or social media url for the business/entity, if available.
