Automate your sales activities (deals and tasks)

Automation can streamline your sales processes, reduce errors, and enhance collaboration. It minimizes the need for manual data entry and other repetitive tasks, enabling you to concentrate on high-value tasks that require your expertise and judgment.

Before you start

  • Make sure you have created your pipelines and set up your deal stages. Learn more in our dedicated article Create and manage multiple pipelines.
  • Make sure you have created any contact attribute, list, form, or segment you'd like to use in the automation.

There are many automations you can create to manage your sales activities. Here are a few examples to get you started.

💲 Create an automation to automatically create deals

Easily automate the creation of deals using an automation that includes the Create a deal step. For example, you can automatically create a deal when a contact submits a form, when their subscription or contract renewal date is near, or when someone books a meeting with you. You can combine this automation with a lead scoring model to create a deal when a contact reaches a specific score.

💼 Create an automation after a deal stage is updated

You can automate actions following the update of a deal stage, like sending emails. This can be useful for sending an email to contacts who haven't engaged recently, newly qualified contacts, or contacts with whom you've just closed a deal.

❗️ Important
In Brevo, automations are linked with contacts. In order for this automation to be triggered after a deal stage is updated, your deal has to be associated with at least one contact. If a deal is associated with two contacts, the automation will be triggered twice.

📌 Create an automation to automatically create tasks

Automating the creation of tasks saves time and enhances efficiency, allowing you to respond promptly to lead and customer inquiries thanks to automatic reminders of important tasks.
You can automate task creation through an automation including the Create a task step. For example, you could automate the creation of a task named "Get back to client" once a contact submits your subscription form and is added to your "My CRM list" list.
