Overview of Brevo's legacy plans
Brevo has four legacy offers:

Marketing Platform

The legacy Free Marketing Platform plan includes up to 300 emails per day and a storage limit of 100,000 contacts. It gives you access to all free features, such as:
- 1 user
- Drag-and-drop email editor
- Customizable email templates
- Email, SMS, and WhatsApp campaigns
The legacy Marketing Platform Starter plan includes between 5,000 and 100,000 emails per month, with a storage limit of 500 to 500,000 contacts depending on the email volume tier you choose. It gives you access to all free features, plus additional Starter features, such as:
- No daily sending limits
- No Brevo logo (add-on)
- Basic reporting and analytics
- 1,000 web push recipients per sending
The legacy Marketing Platform Business plan includes between 5,000 and 1 million emails per month, with a storage limit of 500 to 2 million contacts depending on the email volume tier you choose. It gives you access to all Starter features, plus additional Business features, such as:
- Send time optimization
- A/B testing
- Advanced statistics and reporting
- Up to 10 users (add-on)
- 10,000 web push recipients per sending
The legacy Marketing Platform Enterprise plan includes a flexible number of emails per month and unlimited contact storage. It gives you access to all Business features, plus additional Enterprise features, such as:
- Sub-organization management
- SAML SSO
- Enterprise-grade security
- More than 10 users
- Customer Success Manager
Conversations Platform

The legacy Free Conversations Platform plan gives you access to all free features, such as:
- 1 user
- Unlimited conversations
- Website chat widget

The legacy Conversations Platform Pro plan gives you access to all free features, plus additional Pro features, such as:
- Up to 10 users (add-on)
- Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp
- Chatbot and targeted messages
- Form and lead-capture bot
- Saved replies
Sales Platform

Pay As You Go credits
Pay As You Go emails and SMS are available as one-time purchases on the My Plan page. They never expire and can be used anytime.

Pay As You Go emails can be purchased in packs ranging from 5,000 to 1,000,000 emails. They include all Starter features and allow you to remove the "Sent by Brevo" logo from your emails. These credits can be used for both marketing and transactional emails.
For legacy paid plans, Pay As You Go emails are added on top of your existing plan. On a legacy Free plan, they replace the 300 emails per day limit.
Pay As You Go SMS & WhatsApp messages allow you to send your SMS and WhatsApp campaigns to a specific location.
Add-ons
Add-ons are optional features you can purchase to customize your legacy plan. They can be added from the My Plan page and are billed separately.

If you regularly send a large volume of emails and want full control over your sending reputation, you can purchase a dedicated IP. Dedicated IPs are billed annually with a one-year commitment and automatically renew each year on your billing date.
The Remove Brevo logo add-on removes the Brevo logo displayed at the bottom of emails sent on the Starter plan.
If you work as a team, you can add users to your Marketing Platform or Conversations Platform plan and choose which permissions you want to give them. You can either give access to your entire account or some features only. To learn more, check our dedicated article Add and manage users on your Brevo account.
You can purchase additional landing pages in packs of 5.
Manage a legacy plan
Learn how to manage your legacy plan:
Upgrade a legacy plan
You can upgrade to a higher legacy plan at any time.
To upgrade a legacy plan:
- Click the account dropdown and select My Plan.
- From the Account usage tab, click Upgrade (or Start free trial for Conversations or Phone).
- Choose the plan you want to upgrade to, or adjust your current plan’s limits (emails, contacts, or users).
- Complete the checkout procedure.
Your new plan and features are available immediately.
If you reach the contact storage limit on the first two tiers of the legacy Starter or Business plans, you will automatically be upgraded to the next tier.
Downgrade from a legacy plan
Downgrading requires cancelling your legacy plan and purchasing a lower one at the end of your billing period.
To downgrade from a legacy plan:
- Click the account dropdown and select My Plan.
- At the bottom of the page, click Cancel subscriptions.
- Click No, cancel my subscription.
- If you have multiple paid subscriptions, choose which subscription you want to cancel. You can only cancel one subscription at a time.
- Select the reason for canceling your subscription. For some reasons, you may be asked to provide additional details before confirming.
- Click Yes, I want to cancel my subscription.
Your subscription has been canceled, and you'll be automatically downgraded to a legacy Free plan at the end of your billing period. If needed, repeat the same steps to cancel other subscriptions.
Add or remove emails from a legacy plan
Adding or removing emails from a legacy Marketing Platform plan lets you stay on your existing legacy plan while increasing or reducing the number of emails included.
To add or remove emails from a legacy plan:
- Click the account dropdown and select My Plan.
- From the Marketing Platform section, click Manage emails.
- Use the slider to choose the email volume you need.
If you add more emails to your plan, the change applies immediately, and you can use your new email volume. However, if you remove emails from your plan, the change will apply on your next billing date so that you can use your remaining credits until then.
Pause a legacy plan
You cannot pause a legacy plan. Instead, you can cancel it.
Cancel a legacy plan
You can cancel a legacy plan at any time.
To cancel a legacy plan:
- Click the account dropdown and select My Plan.
- At the bottom of the page, click Cancel subscriptions.
- Click No, cancel my subscription.
- If you have multiple paid subscriptions, choose which subscription you want to cancel. You can only cancel one subscription at a time.
- Select the reason for canceling your subscription. For some reasons, you may be asked to provide additional details before confirming.
- Click Yes, I want to cancel my subscription.
Your subscription has been canceled, and you'll be automatically downgraded to a legacy Free plan at the end of your billing period. If needed, repeat the same steps to cancel other subscriptions.
Switch to our current pricing
You can request to switch to our current pricing. Keep in mind the following restrictions:
- All your legacy plans will be canceled. If you have dedicated IPs, they will be kept.
- For paid plans, a pro-rated credit note will be generated and available on the Credit notes and refunds page.
- You will be moved to our current Free plan and can purchase a new plan if needed.
To switch from a legacy plan to one of our current plans, contact our support team by creating a ticket from your account.
