The images you drag and drop into your Image content block inside the email design are automatically saved into your Content library. From there, you can manage your images and add them to folders.
🏞️ Image limitations and requirements
Your uploaded images should follow the following requirements:
Your images should be in one of the following format:
.PNG
.JPEG
.JPG
.GIF
Your images should not exceed 5MB.
There are currently no limits to creating folders and uploading images to your content library.
Images are stored indefinitely in your content library.
👆 Access your Content library
Access your Content library from the design spaces of your forms and email campaigns:
Choose an email template from the tabs to open the Drag and Drop email editor, or click Start from scratch to open the Drag and Drop editor.
Add or select

content block and hover over it to click
Select and image.

During the Design step, drag and drop an
image block into your form design.
Select the image block and click Choose an image.
⬇️ Upload your own images (My files)
Upload an image directly to your folders or in My files by clicking Upload and browsing on your computer to select the desired image(s):
You can also save stock or GIF images into My files to edit them. Now that your images are saved into your content library, you can insert or edit them depending on your needs. The Insert, Edit,
Details, and Rename features are not
available if you select several images.
Select an image to access the different features that the Content library offers:
Insert to insert your image into your email or form design.
Edit to access the photo editor, where you can crop your image or add filters. ➡️ To learn more, check our dedicated section Edit an image in the article Insert and edit images in your email designs.
Move X file to move your image(s) into a folder. ➡️ To learn more about the content library folders, check our dedicated section Manage folders.
Details to display your image name, format, size, and upload date. You can also download or insert your image from there.
Rename to edit your image name.
Delete X file to delete one or multiple images at a time.
Deselect all to deselect all the images you selected in one click.
📚 Use stock or GIF images
💡 Good to know
The GIF images library only contains GIFs with a maximum size
of 2MB
to prevent slow loading of your emails in your recipients' inboxes.
Search and use free and royalty-free stock and GIF images directly from the content library:
Access the Stock images or GIF images tab.
Type your campaign subject in the search bar to search for stock images linked to your campaign subject.
Select the image(s) you want to use.
(Optional) Add the image(s) selected to a specific folder to save them for later. This will allow you to save stock or GIF images into your files to be able to edit them. ➡️ To learn more, check our dedicated section Discover the basic features.
🎨 Create images from Brevo
❗️ Important
The Create image feature is
only available in the Drag and drop email editor.
However,
images created there are saved in your content library and can
be inserted
into emails designed with the simple editor emails or into your
forms.
Click Create image from the My files tab to create your own image and save it in the Content library. You can create your image from scratch or use one of our image templates.

🧩 Use your Canva designs
❗️ Important
At the moment, Canva assets are only accessible from the
Content library
in the
drag and drop email editor.
You will only be able to convert your designs into .jpg or .png files.
Hover over your Image content block and click Replace. The content library opens.
Access the Canva tab.
Click Refresh to load your latest Canva assets.
If your design contains different pages, hover over it and click View images to open a folder containing all the pages of your Canva asset.
Select the image you want to add to your email design. You can either:
Click Sync and Insert and choose to convert your Canva design into a JPG or PNG file before inserting it.
Click Edit in Canva to edit your design in Canva before importing it. Once your design is edited, click Refresh to retrieve its latest version and click Sync and Insert.
Your Canva design is now inserted into your email! 🚀
📂 Manage folders
❗️ Important
Folders are only accessible from the My files,
stock and GIF images tabs.
Create and access a folder
Click Folders at the top of the Content library screen.
Click + Add a new folder. The Create Folder window opens.
In the Name field, give a relevant name to your folder that will help you know instantly what it contains. Underscores will automatically be added to your folder name after its creation.
Click Confirm. A green box at the top right of your screen confirms the creation of your folder.
To access your folder, click Folders at the top of the Content library screen and select the name of the folder you want to access.
Save or move an image to a folder
To save an image in a folder, or move an image from one folder to another:
Select the image(s) you want to move or save.
Click Move X file(s) or Save to folder.
Choose from the drop-down list the folder where you want to move or save your image(s).
Rename or delete a folder
❗️ Important
If you delete a folder, all the images it contains will be deleted and
you will not be able to retrieve them.
Click Folders or your folder's name at the top of the Content library screen.
Click the three dots ··· icon and click Rename or Delete depending on the action you want to perform.
Follow the instructions corresponding to the action you chose.
