Create folders to organize your segments

In this article, we'll learn how to create folders to organize your segments.

Segments can be stored in folders. Folders are useful to classify and organize several segments used for a common goal or by a specific user.

You can access your segments from the Segments page.

Create a new folder

You can create a new folder to store your segments:

  1. Select the All folders dropdown.
  2. Click + Create a new folder.
  3. Name your folder.
  4. Click Create folder

Your new folder has been created.

Rename a folder

You can rename a folder:

  1. Select the All folders dropdown.
  2. Select the folder you want to rename.
  3. Click Edit folder.
  4. Give a new name to your folder.
  5. Click Edit folder.

Your folder has been renamed.

Move a segment to another folder

You can move a segment to another folder:

  1. Next to the segment you want to move, click the three dots icon.
  2. Select Move segment.
  3. Choose the folder you want to move your segment to. 
    💡 Good to know
    You can create a new folder from this field by clicking Create a new folder in the dropdown. 
  4. Click Move segment.

Your segment has been moved to the new folder.

Delete a folder

💡 Good to know
If the folder you want to delete contains segments, you will have to move them to another folder before the deletion.

You can delete a folder:

  1. Select the All folders dropdown.
  2. Select the folder you want to delete.
  3. Click Delete folder.
  4. Select I am sure I want to delete the folder and the included segments.
  5. Click Delete folder and segments.

Your folder has been deleted.
