The Phone desktop and mobile apps offer the features of the dialer available on the web browser app. Downloading the apps mainly allows you to never miss a call without needing to keep the web browser dialer open all the time.

Before you start

To make a call using the Phone apps, you need to have a Brevo account with an active number. You can check if you have an active number in the Phone lines tab.

🖥️ Download the Phone desktop app

The Phone desktop app allows you to use the dialer. You can make and receive calls the same way as on the browser. To download the Phone desktop app:

1. Go to Calls.
2. In Desktop app, click Mac or Windows.
   
3. When the download is complete, double-click the Brevo+Phone file to open the app.
   On Mac, a pop-up will open. Drag and drop the Brevo Phone app into the Applications folder to find the app more easily.
   
4. Log into your Brevo account to access the dialer.

📱 Download and use the Phone mobile app

The mobile app allows you to use the dialer. You can make and receive calls the same way as on the browser. You are also able to call a saved contact on your iOS device using the Brevo Phone app.

Download the Phone mobile app directly from the Apple Store or the Play Store, and log in with your Brevo credentials to start using it:

Overview of the mobile app dialer

The dialer in the Brevo Phone app is similar to the one from the browser and desktop apps.

1. Keypad
   Tap to open the keypad. This is useful in case you have to select a number to get forwarded to the correct team.
2. Mute
   Tap to mute your microphone. Tap again to unmute it.
3. Speaker
   Tap and select the desired output for your call.
4. Hang Up
   To end the call, tap the red hang-up button.

Call a saved contact on iOS device using Brevo Phone

You can also call a saved contact on your iOS device using the Brevo Phone app.

1. Go to Contacts on your iOS device.
2. Tap the contact you want to call.
3. Hold down the call symbol for 1 second.
4. Tap Brevo Phone.
   
5. The Brevo Phone app will open and automatically call the selected contact.
