Drag & Drop Editor - Part 5: Save content to reuse in your emails

The Drag & Drop Editor makes it easy to design professional-looking emails. It provides more options to customize your email and also ensures that your email looks perfect on any email client and device.

Save time when designing your emails by saving content from an email that you want to reuse in other emails. For example, you can save your headers and footers to avoid creating them for every email design.

Save and reuse content

💾 Save content

You can save an entire section or a specific content block within a section.

  1. Select the content you want to save.
    ❗️ Important
    Ensure you have selected the right content. For example, if you want to save a text block, ensure you selected only the block and not the entire section in which it is contained. To learn more, check our dedicated article Differences between sections and content blocks.
  2. Click the Save icon (floppy disk).
  3. Add a name and click Save block. Add a name that will allow you to find it easily, like Header or Footer.

Your saved content will appear in the Content > Saved tab in the left panel and will automatically be available for use in other emails:

You can save as many content as you want.

📥 Insert a saved content

All of your saved contents can be found in the Content > Saved tab.

  1. Find the content you want to use. Use the search and sort options to locate your content.
    • Search by keyword
    • Sort by name or created date.
  2. Drag and drop the content to your desired location in the email design.

💡 Good to know
Any changes made in the content after it is inserted in the email will not reflect in the original saved content. If you want to permanently make changes to content, use the saved content and make changes or create new content. You will have to delete the previous content and save the new one.

Manage saved contents

🖊 Rename a saved content

You can always edit the name of your saved content to make it easier to find it later.

  1. Click the pen icon (Edit) of the content you want to rename.
  2. Add a new name for your content.
  3. Click Rename block.

The name your saved content is updated.

🗑 Delete a saved content

If you no longer wish to reuse a saved content, you can delete it completely: click on the bin icon of the content you want to delete and click Delete.

This content will no longer be visible in your list of saved content.
