What is a Style block?
A Style block is a structural block consisting of one or more columns to which content blocks can be added.
In the example below, the Style block (in green) contains 2 content blocks (in pink) in 2 different columns: 2 images and 2 text blocks.
You can either create your own style by dragging and dropping the content blocks or use one of our 3 predefined styles of one, two, and three columns:
You can always add, remove or resize columns by clicking the style block and using the sliders to move them and the +/- buttons to add columns:
Style settings
You can rename your style block by clicking on the pen icon next to the title.
Select a Style block to display the following settings in the left navigation panel:
With this setting, you can set the background color and Apply background on full width. You can also click Add a background image to display the Content library and use your files or stock images as a background. If you want to use an image directly from the internet, paste the link to this image in the Insert image from URL field. |
The Vertical alignment setting allows you to change the position of your contents inside the block: top, middle, or bottom. |
|
The Spacing setting allows you to add:
- Space between columns in the selected style block by using the up and down arrows or entering the spacing you want.
- Padding which is the space between the element and the border. It is around all four sides of the content and each side size can be changed.
- Margin which is the space between the border and the next element of your design. It is around the top and bottom sides of the content and each side size can be changed.
Toggle the Padding or Margin button to enable or disable them in one click. Choose which padding or margin size you would like to add for each side of your content by using the +/- buttons or writing the desired size in the text field.
Style actions
You can move a style block vertically: Hover over the style block and hold it while you move it to the desired location. The blue line will show you where the block will be moved to.
There are certain actions available on the bottom-left corner of the style block when selected:

You can move content blocks in the same way as Style blocks and you can also hide or show, duplicate, save, and delete content blocks.
