Save time when designing your emails by saving sections that you can reuse across all your email designs. Design custom sections such as your headers and footers, save them, and easily reuse them in your other email designs!
Before you start
- Only sections can be saved to be reused in other email designs. Content blocks such as single images or text cannot be saved. To learn more about sections, check our dedicated article Differences between sections and content blocks.
- Create an email campaign or an email template and design it with the email editor.
💾 Save a section and reuse it in your email designs
Step 1: Create and save the section you want to reuse
- Click the section you want to save.
- Click the Save for reuse 💾 icon. A modal opens.

Enter a name for your saved section to easily find it in the list of saved sections, such as Header or Footer.
- Click Save.
You can save as many sections as you want. Saved sections can be found in the Content > Saved tab in the left panel of your email editor:
Step 2: Reuse your saved section in your email designs
To reuse your saved section in your email designs:
- In the left panel of your email editor, access the Content > Saved tab.
- Drag and drop the desired saved section in your email design. Use the search and sort options to find it easily.
- Continue designing your email.
Congratulations! 🎉 You are now saving time by reusing your saved section in all your email designs.
✏️ Edit a saved section
Easily update your saved section whenever needed to easily handle changes. For example, if your company moves to a new address, you can quickly update it without recreating the section, or you can also adjust design elements like background color, or images to maintain brand consistency.
You can either:
- Edit your saved section independently to make changes that appear only in the email design you're currently in, without affecting other email designs where it is used.

Edit and sync your saved section across emails to automatically reflect the changes across all the email designs in which it is used.
- In the left panel of your email editor, access the Content > Saved tab.
- Drag and drop the saved section you want to edit in your email design. Use the search and sort options to find it easily.
- Select the saved section to open its settings in the left panel.
- Click Edit independently.
- Make the necessary changes to your section.
💡 Good to knowAny changes made in the section after it is inserted in the email will not reflect in the original saved section. If you want to permanently make changes to your section, use the Edit across emails option, insert the saved section, and make changes, or create new section.
❗️ ImportantThe Edit across emails option is only available on an Enterprise plan. To learn more, check our website or get in touch with our Sales team.- In the left panel of your email editor, access the Content > Saved tab.
- Drag and drop the saved section you want to edit in your email design. Use the search and sort options to find it easily.
- Select the saved section to open its settings in the left panel.
- Click Edit across emails. A raw email editor opens to only show the saved section.
- Make the necessary changes to your section.
💡 Good to knowYou cannot add another section within a saved section, you can only add other content blocks within the same content line.
- Click Save & sync at the top-right corner to reflect your changes to all the email designs where this saved section is used.
❗️ ImportantChanges will apply to all email templates and draft email campaigns. Sent or scheduled email templates or campaigns will not reflect your changes. - Check which emails your changes will be reflected in and click Save & sync to confirm.
Congratulations! 🎉 You have successfully updated your saved section in all the email templates and draft campaigns where it is used.
⚙️ Manage saved sections
👁️ View where my saved section is used
To check where your saved section is used and ensure you can edit it and sync changes across all emails:
- In the left panel of your email editor, access the Content > Saved tab.
- Drag and drop the saved section for which you want to see details in your email design. Use the search and sort options to find it easily.
- Select the saved section to open its settings in the left panel.
- The number of emails in which your saved section is used is indicated at the top of your saved content settings. Click View to see the details of the emails in which your saved section is used.
🖊 Rename a saved section
Edit the name of your saved section to make it easier to find it later:
- In the left panel of your email editor, access the Content > Saved tab.
- Drag and drop the saved section you want to rename in your email design. Use the search and sort options to find it easily.
- Select the saved section to open its settings in the left panel.
- Click Edit independently.
- Click the name of your saved section in the top left corner and replace it with a new one.
- Click the green check icon.
🗑 Delete a saved content
If you no longer wish to reuse a saved section, you can delete it completely.
- In the left panel of your email editor, access the Content > Saved tab.
- Click the bin 🗑 icon next to the name of the section you want to delete.
- Click Delete from Saved list in the confirmation modal.
