In this article, we will explain how to edit an email template.
Make an email template active or inactive
💡 Good to know
An email template that is active can be selected
from an Automation workflow, whereas an email template that is
inactive cannot be selected from an Automation worklow.
- Go to Marketing > Templates > Email.
- Next to the name of the email template you want to activate or deactivate, click the More action icon
and then click ▶️ Activate or ⏸️ Deactivate.
❗️ Important
If a template used in an Automation workflow is inactivated, the
workflow will stop running when it comes to the step
where the template should have been used. To prevent your workflow from
breaking at this step, make sure to
edit it and replace the inactivated template.
