You can pause your monthly subscription for up to 3 months. This is helpful if you need a short break from using Brevo but don't want to cancel your subscription.
Good to know
- Only the account owner or users with permission to manage plan, billing, and payment can access the My plan page and pause a subscription. To learn more, check our dedicated article Add and manage users on your Brevo account.
- While your subscription is paused, you cannot cancel your plan, switch to a yearly plan, or add new users. To make these changes, you’ll first need to resume your subscription.
⏸️ Pause your subscription
To pause your subscription:
- Click your account name and select My plan.
- At the bottom of the page, click Pause subscription.
- Choose if you want to pause your subscription for 1, 2, or 3 months.
- Click Pause my subscription.
The pause has been scheduled, and your subscription will be paused at the end of your current billing period.

Pausing a subscription is only available if you are on our current pricing, subscribed to a Starter or Standard plan, and on a monthly plan. If pausing is not available for your plan, you can cancel your subscription instead.
When you pause your subscription, the pause is scheduled and will take effect at the end of your current billing period. Until then, you can continue using your remaining credits.
During the pause, you can still manage your Brevo account and use the features included in the Free plan, but you won’t be able to send emails.
Your subscription will automatically resume after the pause duration you selected (1, 2, or 3 months).
Yes. If your subscription pause has been scheduled but hasn’t started yet, you can cancel it by clicking Remove scheduled changes next to your plan name on the My plan page.
Yes. If your subscription pause has already started, you can resume it early by clicking Resume my plan next to your plan name on the My plan page.
A pro-rated fee covering the period from the date you resume your subscription until your next billing date will be automatically charged to your current payment method.
