You can pause your monthly subscription for up to 3 months. This is helpful if you need a short break from sending campaigns but don't want to cancel your subscription, for example.
Good to know
- Only monthly plans can be paused. You cannot pause annual plans.
- You cannot cancel your plan, switch to an annual plan or add new users to your plan while your subscription is paused. You need to resume your subscription before doing so.
⏸️ Pause your subscription
You can pause your subscription at any time.
- Click your account name and select My Plan.
- At the bottom of the page, click Pause subscriptions.
- If you have multiple paid subscriptions, choose which subscription you want to pause. You can only pause one subscription at a time.
- Choose how long you want to pause your subscription. You can pause it for up to 3 months.
- Click Pause my subscription.
The pause has been scheduled and your plan will be paused at the end of your billing period. If needed, repeat the same steps to pause other subscriptions.

Pausing a subscription is only possible for users on our current pricing. If you don't see the Pause subscriptions button, it means you’re on an older pricing. In that case, you can cancel your subscription instead.
After pausing your subscription, the pause will be scheduled and your plan will be paused at the end of your billing period. You can use your remaining credits until then.
While your subscription is paused, you will still be able to manage your Brevo account and use the features available in our free plans. However, you won't be able to send any emails.
Your subscription will then automatically resume one, two, or three months later, based on the pause duration you selected.
Yes, you can cancel a scheduled pause or resume your subscription earlier than planned. Use the following tabs to view related instructions:
If the pause of your subscription has been scheduled but hasn't started yet, you can cancel it by clicking Remove scheduled changes next to your plan name.
If the pause of your subscription has already started, you can resume your subscription sooner than planned by clicking Resume my plan next to your plan name.
A pro-rated fee from the date you resume your subscription to your next billing date will be automatically charged on your current payment method.
