Phone provides you with a phone number that can be used for both incoming and outgoing calls. The phone number associated with your account is free, and you can easily call your Brevo contacts with just one click. You can keep track of your phone calls with clients and gather all your sales activities in Brevo.
Brevo provides VoIP (Voice over Internet Protocol) phone numbers, which allows voice calls to be made over the Internet instead of a traditional telephone network.
Good to know
- Currently, we offer landline phone numbers from the United States, Canada, France, Germany, Spain, and the United Kingdom.
- Currently, Phone allows you to call numbers in many countries across Europe, North America, South America, and Asia, as well as in South Africa, Australia, and New Zealand. You can find the complete list of countries you can call in this file. If you want to call a number that is not listed, contact our support team.
- To avoid your US phone number showing as spam, you can submit your number on the Free Caller Register. To learn more, check our dedicated section.
📞 Choose a phone number
Go to Calls to start onboarding Phone.
While onboarding Phone, the first thing you need to do is to get a phone number. Brevo Phone suggests a phone number. You can either:
- Get this number

Choose another number:
- Select the country of origin of your phone number.

- Optional: Type the digits you want to include in your phone number.
- Select a suggested phone number in the list.
- Select the country of origin of your phone number.
Once your phone number is set up, you are redirected to the Phone dashboard.
🎧 Select your input and output devices
You can choose which input and output devices to use during calls.
- Go to Calls.
- From the dashboard, click Open your phone to open the dialer.
- Click the gear icon
to open the audio settings.
- Select your preferred input and output devices.

☎️ Name your phone line
Naming your phone line is helpful to quickly identify it in the app, especially if you have several numbers:
- Go to Calls > Phone lines.
- Click the phone line name to access its settings.
- In Phone line name, enter a name to help you easily identify your phone line.
- Click Save settings.
🇺🇸 Avoid your US number showing as spam
If you've chosen a US phone number, your calls might show up as spam to your contacts within the US, depending on their carrier. This is to protect your contacts from unwanted and illegal calls. There are a few things you can do to avoid this issue.
General tips
To avoid your calls showing up as spam, you can:
- Tell your contacts to save your number on their phone.
- Avoid making a large number of calls.
- Avoid short calls under 50 seconds.
- Avoid calling the same number multiple times in one day.
Register your number on the Free Caller Registry
Additionally, to avoid your US number showing as spam, you can register the number on the Free Caller Registry:
- Go to the Free Caller Register website at this link: https://www.freecallerregistry.com/fcr/.
- Click Register Here.
- Before completing the form, read the information on the website to ensure you are authorized to submit your number.
- Fill in the form by adding your US phone number, selecting what type of calls you are making, and entering your information.
- Click Send Verification Code. You will receive a code to the email you provided on the form.
- Enter the code in the field.
- Click Submit.
You will receive an email from each Analytic Engine (Orion, Hiya, and Transaction Network Services) confirming receipt of the form and letting you know if you need to provide any additional information. After a few days, the number will be officially registered, and the US number will no longer show as spam.
