To upgrade to a higher plan:
- Click the account dropdown and select My plan.
- Open the Upgrade plan tab.
- Choose the plan you want to upgrade to.

Your new features are available immediately, so you can start using them right away.
❓ FAQs
When you upgrade to a higher plan, you are charged immediately for the full period of your new plan. Your billing cycle resets from that date, regardless of your previous billing date. For example, if you upgrade on November 18, your new billing date will be the 18th of each month.
Note that any unused credits from your previous plan will not carry over and will be lost.
Yes, if your monthly email volume isn’t enough, you can purchase additional emails while staying on the same plan. There are two options:

Adjust your monthly email volume
You can add or remove emails from your plan. Changes are applied on a monthly basis. To learn more, check our dedicated article Add or remove emails from your plan. -
Buy pre-paid email credits
You can purchase credits in packs ranging from 5,000 to 1 million emails as a one-time purchase. These credits never expire and remain valid until they are all used. To learn more, check our dedicated article Customize your plan with add-ons.
When you select a paid plan, you can choose the total number of emails you want to send each month. The email volume you select determines your pricing tier, which also sets the limit on the total number of contacts you can store in Brevo.
If you are on one of the first two tiers of the Starter or Standard plans, with limits set at 500 and 1,500 contacts respectively, and you exceed that limit, we will automatically upgrade your plan to the next tier. For example, if you are using a Starter plan with a limit of 1,500 contacts and you reach 1,501 contacts, we will automatically upgrade you to the next Starter plan tier, which allows up to 500,000 contacts. The cost of your subscription will increase accordingly.
