🚀 Upgrade your plan
You can upgrade your plan at any time. The upgrade process may vary depending on your plan. Select the appropriate tab below to see the steps for your plan ⬇️.
If you need more emails, more contact storage, or access to more features, you can upgrade your Marketing Platform offer to a higher plan:
- Click your account name and select My Plan.
- From the Account usage tab, click Select a plan next to Marketing Platform.
- Choose the plan you'd like to upgrade to, or click Manage emails to add more emails to your current plan or increase your contact storage limit.
- Follow the checkout procedure.
Your plan is upgraded, and you can immediately start using your credits and new features.

When your upgrade your Marketing Platform plan, you pay the price of the new plan minus the cost of your previous plan and any prorated of unused credits.
Your billing date depends on your previous plan:
- Upgrading from a free plan: You'll be charged monthly on the date you upgraded (e.g., if you upgrade on November 18th, your billing date will be the 18th of each month).
- Upgrading from a paid plan: You'll continue to be charged on your original billing date, with a prorated adjustment applied for the upgrade.
If you're on a Marketing Platform plan and need more emails, you have the option to only purchase more emails while staying on the same plan. There are two ways you can purchase more emails:
- Modify your monthly subscription by adjusting the number of emails you want to send per month. This change will be applied every months. To learn more, check our dedicated article Add or remove emails to your plan.
- Buy packs of 5,000 to 1,000,000 emails as a one-time purchase. These credits do not expire and remain valid until you use them all. To learn more, check our dedicated article About add-ons or Pay as you go (WhatsApp, SMS and email credits, and Dedicated IP).
When you select a paid Marketing Platform plan, you get to choose the total number of emails you wish to send each month. Your chosen email volume will determine the pricing tier you fall into, which also sets the limit for the total number of contacts you can store in Brevo.
If you're on either of the first two tiers of the Marketing Platform Starter or Business plans, with limits set at 500 and 1,500 contacts respectively, and you exceed that limit, we'll automatically upgrade you to the next tier of your plan. For example, if you're on a Starter plan with a limit of 1,500 contacts and you reach 1,501 contacts, we'll upgrade you to the next tier of the Starter plan, which allows for up to 500,000 contacts. Your subscription cost will then increase accordingly.
Upgrading to a pro Conversations Platform plan is a great way to access more features and add more users to your account. We offer a 30-day free trial, so you can test all the features of the pro Conversations Platform plan and configure the Conversations app.
To upgrade your Conversations Platform plan:
- Click the account dropdown and select My Plan.
- From the Account usage tab, click Start a free trial next to Conversations.
- Click Start 30-day free trial.
You can immediately test the features available in the pro Conversations Platform plan for 30 days for free! 🚀 You can switch to the pro plan before the end of the free trial from My Plan > Conversations by clicking Upgrade to Conversations Pro and following the checkout procedure.

You will automatically be upgraded to the pro Conversations plan if you used the Conversations app during the free trial and already have a payment method registered in your Brevo account.
You can manually downgrade or upgrade your Conversations plan anytime from My Plan > Conversations. All the data and information you added to the Conversations app during the free trial are saved and will be restored if you upgrade after the free trial.
