You can install the Conversations widget on your website via Google Tag Manager to be able to interact with your customers.
Step 1: Access Custom HTML in Google Tag Manager
In Google Tag Manager:
- Go to your Workspace.
- Click the Overview tab.

Click Add a new tag and fill in the Tag name, e.g. Conversations.
- Click Tag Configuration and choose Custom HTML.
Step 2: Get the chat widget script from Brevo
Now you need to copy the chat widget script provided by Brevo:
- Click the account dropdown and select Settings > Inbox > Chat widget.
- Click Install your chat widget.
- Complete the customization of your widget and profile. To learn more, check our dedicated articles Customize your chat widget appearance and Customize your chat operator profile.
- At the Installation step, select the Google Tag Manager card.
- Click Copy to copy the script.
Step 3: Paste the code in Google Tag Manager
Go back to Google Tag Manager, in the Tag Configuration window:
- Paste the Conversations widget code in the HTML field.
- Click Triggering and choose a trigger (All Pages is a good start).
- Click Save.
- Click Submit.
- The Submit Changes page opens. Add a descriptive name for this change in the Version Name field and click Publish to complete the installation.
You can now see the Conversations widget at the bottom of the page and you are able to chat directly with your clients.
