Brevo Meetings offers you the possibility to schedule video calls with Brevo, Zoom, or Google Meet. When you create or edit a meeting type, you can decide which communication tool to use. |
Brevo can be used instantly, but you need to activate the Zoom and Google Meet integrations to use them.
🎦 Use Brevo for your video calls
The Brevo video call tool allows you to have video meetings directly in your browser.
Overview
Before the call, you have access to the following options:

During the call, you also have access to options:
- Click More options to access:
- Help: Get redirected to this help center article.
- Audio and video settings: Set up the input and output devices for your video call. You can also change the layout on how many participants should be visible on screen.
- Virtual effects: Use one of our existing background virtual effects or blur your background. Virtual effects are only available on certain browsers.
- Troubleshooting: Get video call room information. You can provide this information to the support team if you have an issue with your call, to help identify the problem.
- View: Choose between the Speaker view or the Gallery view.
- Click Mic to turn your microphone on or off.
- Click Cam to turn your camera on or off.
- Click Share to share your screen with the other participants.
- Click Chat to send messages to the other participants. The messages will not be saved after the call ends.
- Click Leave call when the meeting is over.
Record a Brevo video call
- Recordings can only be set up from Meetings before the call, not from nor during the call.
- The entire meeting will be recorded.
When using Brevo as a video call tool, you can record a meeting type or a specific planned meeting:
You can record a meeting type by default when setting it up:
- Create or edit a meeting type.
- In Step 1: What meeting do you want to propose?, select Video call with Brevo as a communication tool or location.
- In Step 3: Configure the time slots, reminders, and link, activate Record video call.

Choose how you want to get the recordings:
- audio and video recordings separately in MKA/MKV format or,
- audio and video together in MP4 format.
- Save your meeting type.
You can record a specific planned meeting even if that meeting type isn't set up to be recorded, as long as it uses Brevo as a video call tool and it hasn't started yet:
- Go to Meetings > Planned meetings.
- Click the Upcoming tab.
- Click Details on the meeting that you want to record.
- Activate Record the meeting. By default, the recordings will have the audio and video separate in MKA/MKV format unless a different format has already been selected for this meeting type.
Download your recordings
After the planned end of your meeting, you can download the recordings:
- Go to Meetings > Planned meetings.
- Click the Past tab.
- Click Details on the meeting for which you want to see the recording.
- Click Show recordings.
❗️ ImportantIf you've selected the MKA/MKV format, your recordings will be ready a few minutes after your meeting ends. If you leave and join the meeting several times, there will be several recordings available to download.
If you've selected the MP4 format, your recordings will be ready between 10 minutes and an hour after you click Show recordings. - Click the recordings to download them.
Troubleshooting
If you encounter any issues during your Brevo video calls, here are some common solutions to try. If your problem persists, contact our support team.

Click the lock icon in your browser search bar and check that Brevo Meetings has permission to access your microphone and speakers.

Go to your video call settings to ensure that you've selected the correct microphone and speakers for your audio input and output, and the correct camera for your video input.

If you've connected or reconnected a device during a video call, refresh the page and rejoin the call.

If you're using a webcam, make sure the privacy lock is disabled and the privacy cover is off; then rejoin the call.

Check if the sound is enabled on your device. Refresh the page and rejoin the call when your settings are changed.

Check if you've selected the right device for your audio input. Refresh the page and rejoin the call when your settings are changed.

Check if you've selected the right device for your video input. Refresh the page and rejoin the call when your settings are changed.

If you're using a webcam, make sure the privacy lock is disabled and the privacy cover is off; then rejoin the call.

Check if there are any current file downloads or uploads in the background or on any other device in your network. You may want to pause or reduce the speed of any file downloads or uploads when video calling.

Check if your router is delivering a stable connection. You may want to bring your device nearer to your router to improve the connection quality.

If you're using a portable microphone, move closer to the mic or increase the volume sensitivity to make it easier for others to hear you.

If you're using a phone or tablet, you can toggle the loudspeaker off to reduce background noise.

If there are a lot of echoes when participants hear you, try using a different room that has more insulation.

Switch to a different Wifi or 4G connection.

You can turn off your own video input to improve the overall connection quality.
- Try a different browser or device. If the problem persists, contact our support team.
✅ Activate Zoom or Google Meet
You need to activate the Zoom and Google Meet integrations before being able to use them as communication tools.
To activate the Zoom integration:
- Go to Meetings > Settings.
- Click Video call tool.
- Click Connect to Zoom.
- Log into your Zoom account.
- Click Allow.
Every time a meeting that has Zoom as a communication tool is booked, your meeting invitations will automatically contain a Zoom link as well as details on how to join the video call with Zoom.
If you've connected your Google Calendar to Meetings, Google Meet is already activated.
To connect Google Meet to Meetings, you need to connect your Google Calendar:
- Go to Meetings > Availability.
- Go to the Connected calendars tab.
- Next to Primary Google Calendar, click Connect calendar.
- Choose the Google account you want to link to Brevo.
- Click Allow.
Your Google Calendar is now connected to your Brevo account, and you can use the Google Meet integration for video calls. Every time a meeting that has Google Meet as a communication tool is booked, your meeting invitations will automatically contain a Google Meet link as well as details on how to join the video call with Google Meet.
❌ Disconnect Zoom or Google Meet
You can disconnect the Zoom and Google Meet integrations at any time.
To disconnect Zoom from Brevo:
- Go to Meetings > Settings.
- Click Video call tool.
- Click Disconnect from Zoom.
- Click Disconnect to confirm.
To disconnect Google Meet from Brevo, you need to disconnect your Google Calendar.
- Go to Meetings > Availability.
- Go to the Connected calendars tab.
- Next to Google Calendar, click Disconnect calendar.
🗑 Remove your Zoom data from Brevo
You can remove all your Zoom data by deleting your Brevo account:
- Click the account dropdown > Settings.
- In the Close your account section, click Definitively close your account.
- Click Yes to confirm.
