The Brevo integration for BigCommerce is currently available in English and French. The language will be set to the preferred language used in your BigCommerce Control Panel.
Before you start
- Make sure you have created a Brevo account. If you don't have a Brevo account yet, you can register here.
- In Brevo, create the API key that will be used to connect your BigCommerce store to Brevo. To learn how to create an API key, check our dedicated article Create and manage your API keys.
🤔 What can I achieve with the Brevo integration for BigCommerce?
When you integrate BigCommerce with Brevo, you're not just connecting platforms; you're unlocking the potential of your e-commerce data. Here's what you can achieve:
- Email Marketing: Send tailored email campaigns to showcase new arrivals, exclusive offers, and recover abandoned carts with precision.
- Marketing Automation: Automate your marketing tasks based on customer behavior, ensuring timely and relevant messaging.
- Live Chat: Provide real-time support to visitors and customers, converting inquiries into conversions and enhancing the shopping experience.
- CRM: Manage customer interactions, view order histories, and personalize the customer journey for lasting relationships.
✅ Activate the Brevo integration for BigCommerce
To activate the Brevo integration for BigCommerce:
- Access the BigCommerce App Marketplace.
- Search and select the Brevo integration.
- Click Get this app.
- Log into your BigCommerce account.
- Click Install.
- Review the permissions and click Confirm.
- Click Yes to start connecting your BigCommerce store to Brevo.
- In the Brevo API key (v3) field, enter your API key. To learn how to create an API key, check our dedicated article Create and manage your API keys.
- Click Validate.
You can now access your E-commerce analytics dashboard. Allow up to 5 minutes for the retrieval and storage of your historical data. If needed, you can manually refresh the dashboard by clicking the arrow icon 🔄.
The number at the top represents the number of data synced to Brevo, while the total number represents your total number of data in BigCommerce. If some data is not synced, an ℹ️ icon will appear next to the number at the top. Click the ℹ️ icon to view details about what data didn't sync and why.
🔄 Sync your data between Brevo and BigCommerce
Step 1: Set up the sync of your data between Brevo and BigCommerce
- In the sidebar menu, go to Apps > Brevo.
- Go to the Set up sync tab. From there, you can sync the following data in the following direction:

- Click the edit icon 📝 next to the data you want to sync.
- Activate the fields you want to sync with Brevo.
- Map each BIGCOMMERCE field with the corresponding BREVO attribute.
- Select the data source for resolving conflicts. This is helpful when you have different information for a contact and need to determine whether BigCommerce or Brevo should be considered the primary source.
- Once you're done, toggle on the Data Synchronization button.
- Review the mapping of your fields and click Enable.
- Repeat steps 3 to 8 for each data you want to sync.
Step 2: View your synced data in Brevo
Once your data has been synced to Brevo, you can find it in your Brevo account:
You can view your BigCommerce subscribers and customers on the Contacts page. To view more details about a contact, access their details page.

You can view your categories, products, and orders on the eCommerce Dashboard. However, note that you can only view data about the products that were purchased by your customers. Additionally, you can also view your orders on the contact details page of your BigCommerce customers.

📊 Track your subscribers and customers' actions in real time
Step 1: Set up the tracking of your subscribers and customers' actions
To track the actions of your subscribers and customers in your BigCommerce store, you need to manually activate the events that you want to track:
- In the sidebar menu, go to Apps > Brevo.
- Go to the Tracking events tab. From there, you can activate live tracking for the following BigCommerce events:
- Subscriber created
- Subscriber updated
- Subscriber deleted
- Customer created
- Actions related to abandoned carts (cart updated, cart deleted, order completed)
- Existing order updated (status change, coupon update, address modification)
- Activate the events you want to track with Brevo by toggling on the button in the Active column.
Once done, all relevant metrics and key activities are automatically and immediately synchronized with Brevo. You will be able to track the following information based on the events you have activated:

Step 2: View your subscribers and customers' actions
All the events you are tracking and their information can be viewed from your Brevo account:
- Log into Brevo.
- Go to Automations > Logs > Event Logs.
- From the All events dropdown, select the events you want to view.
- The events selected appear in the list. You can view the following information:
- TYPE: The event type.
- DATE: The date the event happened.
- NAME: The name of the subscriber or customer who did the action.
- FROM: The email address of the subscriber or customer who did the action.

IP ADDRESS: The IP address of the subscriber or customer who did the action.
🔌 Enable the connection between your BigCommerce store and Brevo
Once you have set up the Brevo integration for BigCommerce, you can enable the connection between your BigCommerce store and Brevo. Before making the connection, we recommend you:
- Check your data sync and event tracking settings.
- Create any automated marketing workflow that leverages the events you're tracking on your store, such as a Welcome email sequence or an Abandoned cart automation.
- Create and embed any Brevo form you want to use on your website.
Then, click Connect to enable the connection from the integration. That's it! Now, your BigCommerce store is connected to Brevo.

❌ Uninstall the Brevo integration from your BigCommerce store
If you want to stop syncing your data to Brevo, you can either temporarily disconnect the integration or permanently uninstall it:
- To temporarily disconnect the integration, click Disconnect from the integration.
- To permanently uninstall the integration, go to Apps My Apps and click Uninstall.
