Canceling a paid subscription will downgrade you to a free plan. Depending on your reason for canceling, a different option might suit you better:
- Taking a short break? Pause your subscription for up to 3 months.
- Need fewer email credits? Remove emails from your plan instead of downgrading.
- Payment failed or plan expired? Subscribe to a new plan from the My plan page using a valid payment method.
Good to know
- Only the account owner or a user with the Manage plan, billing, and payment information permission can access the My plan page and cancel a subscription.
- Canceling your subscription does not cancel your dedicated IP. To cancel it, contact our support team by creating a ticket from your account.

Cancel your subscription
You can cancel your subscription at any time. Note that when you cancel, you'll be automatically downgraded to a free plan at the end of your billing period.
- Click your account name and select My Plan.
- At the bottom of the page, click Cancel subscriptions.
- Click No, cancel my subscription.
💡 Good to knowIf you want to pause your subscription for up to 3 months instead of canceling, click Yes, pause my subscription. To learn more, check our dedicated article Pause your subscription. - If you have multiple paid subscriptions, choose which subscription you want to cancel. You can only cancel one subscription at a time.
- Select the reason for canceling your subscription. For some reasons, you may be asked to provide additional details before confirming.
- Click Yes, I want to cancel my subscription.
Your subscription has been canceled, and you'll be automatically downgraded to a free plan at the end of your billing period. If needed, repeat the same steps to cancel other subscriptions.

Canceling your subscription and downgrading to a free or lower plan will not delete any data from your Brevo account. You will still have access to your forms, templates, and contacts.

Once the new billing period begins, you can choose to stay on the free plan or switch to a lower plan. Alternatively, you can purchase prepaid credits to send emails, SMS, and WhatsApp messages.
If you no longer want to cancel your subscription, you can click Remove scheduled changes next to your plan name before the end of your billing period:
Your subscription will continue as usual, and you'll be charged on your next billing date.
