Permanently close your Brevo account

You can close your Brevo account at any time. This action is irreversible, and all data will be permanently lost.

Good to know

  • Only the account owner can permanently close the account.
If you’re on a Professional or Enterprise plan, contact our support team by creating a ticket from your account to request closure.
  • Instead of permanently closing your account, you can cancel all your subscriptions and automatically downgrade to the Free plan. This keeps your account and data accessible.
➡️ To learn more, check our dedicated article Cancel your subscription.

Data retention after account closure

In accordance with GDPR and applicable laws, we retain aggregated data for three months after account closure to:

  • Maintain statistics
  • Preserve account-related information for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims, whether in court, administrative, or out-of-court proceedings

During this period, the account cannot be restored, and the closure remains irreversible.
