To downgrade a paid subscription, you first need to cancel it. Then, you can either choose to stay on the free plan or switch to a lower plan than the one you were previously on.
However, note that if you have encountered failed payments, you will have to contact our support team instead.
Good to know
- Only the account owner or users with permission to manage plan, billing, and payment can access the My plan page and downgrade to the Free plan or a lower plan. To learn more, check our dedicated article Add and manage users on your Brevo account.
-
Depending on your reason for downgrading, a different option might suit you better:
- Taking a short break? Pause your subscription for up to 3 months.
- Need fewer email credits? Adjust your email volume instead of downgrading.
- Payment failed or plan expired? Subscribe to a new plan from the My plan page using a valid payment method.
